Commissions, Custom Work or Held Items:
Unfortunately, I do not offer commissions, custom work, nor do I hold items. Age Restrictions: My items are intended for adult collectors. Though cute, they are not meant for children. Though durable, they are not indestructible. The gold, and even the glass glaze can be worn off by a rough wearer. They are a choking hazard, and broken pieces may be sharp enough to cause injury. Please gift responsibly! Don't gift these to children.
Product Care:
Care must be taken to preserve the life of the gold and white gold. They are soft metals applied in a thin layer and fused to the glaze (just like dinnerware or glassware with gold trim). These pieces should be handled with care. In the case of jewelry, remove the item before bed to avoid damaging the piece while you're sleeping. Avoid contact with other hard or rough objects, abrasive materials, chemicals, or prolonged rubbing. To clean, gently polish with a soft jewelry cloth. Never use a melamine sponge on the metal, nor should you scrub the metal. If the metal luster does get scraped or worn, don't panic. I can very likely repair the item depending on its severity. This involves burning all the old metal off, reapplying, and re-firing it. Contact me at [email protected] (preferably with a photo of the piece) and I'll see what I can do!
Materials:
I use ceramic clay, non-leaded glaze, and rare-metal luster. The wire loops which are embedded into the clay are steel (Note: these are not the ear ring wires, which are different materials stated in the listing). If a jewelry item contacts the skin (necklaces, earrings, etc.) I will indicate in the listing whether or not it contains nickel. On very rare occasions, I will have short runs of prints, enamel pins, or a curated piece that will not be handmade. The materials of these, and the fact that they are not made by me will be noted in the listing.
International Orders:
I will not alter the price of an item or mark it as a gift for you to avoid customs fees. It is fraud to falsify a customs form, and carries a penalty of up to $10,000 fine and 5 years imprisonment (13 U.S.C. § 305 : US Code - Section 305: Penalties for unlawful export information).
